On March 27th 2018, FORECON Inc. foresters attended the Penn State Forest Health, Insect and Disease seminar held at the Penn State Hotel conference center, State College, Pennsylvania. Scott Stoleson, Research Wildlife Biologist, USDA Forest Service, spoke on the Potential Implications of the Exotic Fruit Fly, Drosophila suzukii, on the Allegheny National Forest (ANF) Ecosytem. And Timothy Marasco, DCNR Bureau of Forestry in Harrisburg updated us on the Spotted Lanternfly (Lycorma delictula) infestation in Southeast Pennsylvania.
